Regent Seven Seas Voyager

Regent Seven Seas Voyager – Small Ship with Big Ship Amenities

Posted: February 16, 2023

As soon as I boarded Regent Seven Seas Voyager I had to pinch myself, I thought I was in a dream, and inside a palace!

The 700-passenger, all-suite, all-balcony Voyager, is by far the most luxurious and spacious cruise ship I have been on

Your probably saying to yourself… Spacious? Well let me show you a comparison with a cruise ship you are more familiar with the Pacific Eden.

So, as you can see there is not much difference except for the passenger ratio between the two ships. This is great for guests who want a relaxing holiday without the hustle and bustle of big crowds.

Whilst onboard, I forget I was onboard a boutique cruise ship. Regent Seven Seas Voyager offers multiple sophisticatedly designed lounges, restaurants and suites in rich warm colours.

Every stateroom is a well-appointed mini palace with a balcony and courteous European and international crew ready to wait on you hand and foot.

Regent Seven Seas was built in 2003, Seven Seas Voyager was dry docked in October 2013 with startling new decor with the exterior decks being reinvigorated.

Now the public areas even though it is a boutique ship gives the feel of being onboard a large vessel. The Observation Lounge set high up on the top deck undertook a sweeping transformation.

Guests can enjoy 180-degree sea views from the curved bar and plush seating. Horizons, the nightclub and bar also underwent a complete transformation.

For guests who enjoy a cigar with their scotch can relax in the connoisseur club.

The ship boasts elegant fixtures and carpeting, gleaming wall coverings and new lighting throughout.

The Constellation Theatre, the ship’s glitzy two-deck theater, had a complete nip/tuck with new carpeting, furniture, wall coverings, cocktail tables, wall chandeliers, and chairs.

For guests that like to keep contact with friends and loved ones can sit and relax in the Internet cafe, Canyon Ranch spa and gym offers a multitude of invigorating treatments.

Stroll to the spacious Deck 11 to the Pool Grill and La Veranda which has attractive mosaic tiling, wall coverings and sun shade.

Take a dip in the pool, or one of three spas, or just grab your tablet or favourite book and kick back on a deck chair and bask in the gorgeous setting.

Or if you want a more relaxed atmosphere somewhere more secluded their are areas on Decks 5, 11 and 12 with upgraded resort furniture.

Regent Seven Seas Voyager is a ship that boast tranquility with a cultured but informal ambiance. Crew members are polite and pleasant; minimal announcements are made throughout the day and the lack of queues enhance the feeling of refinement.

Voyager has a small-ship feel with big-ship amenities, and if you have a penchant for luxury and understated elegance, this is the vessel for you.

Regent Seven Seas prides itself as being an all-inclusive cruise ship.  When you step onboard, the only thing you need to worry about splurging your money on is for a spa treatments, the onboard shops and if you really want to try your luck in the casino.

Other than that, she has the shebang, together with shore excursions and gratuities, is comprised in the price, so do not worry, you will not get a heart attack at the end of your cruise with surprising hidden extras.

If you like to have a drink during the day, at dinner, or whilst letting your hair down in the nightclub – don’t worry! Once you order your favourite drink once whether it be 12 year old Glenfiddich, Patrón or Macallan, your waiter will keep topping up your drink without you even having to ask.

Each guest onboard is treated the same no matter if its your first cruise onboard or tenth, each guest has access to the same facilities and the same restaurants, whichever suite you choose.

If I could describe the suites onboard Regent Seven Seas Voyager I would say - enormous!

Space proliferates, with all-suite accommodations ranging from 300 to nearly 4,000 square feet with a private, well-appointed balcony accompanying all suites.

Before going onboard I was excited to see the accessible suites, but once I saw the standard suite, I totally forgot about the accessible suites. The suites are inspiring, and I thought to myself, why would I want to leave my suite! Within the peaceful tranquility, you will feel totally at home as every conceivable amenity you can think of is on offer.

When I saw the bathroom I nearly fell out of my chair, it was nothing like your typical cruise ship bathroom.

There is marble, marble, and more marble, the bathroom features a tub or walk-in shower. The spacious suite provides room to easily manoeuvre your wheelchair or scooter.

So, if you’re after an all-inclusive luxury cruise like no other cruise you have been on – Regent Seven Seas Voyager should definitely be on your bucket list.
