Una Gran Noticia! Holland America Line ms Westerdam Strengthens Its Presence In Mexico

There is some great news (Una gran noticia) for anyone who has Mexico on their bucket list!  Holland America Line is strengthening its presence in Mexico for the 2016-17 season by increasing the quantity of departures and bringing back a larger Vista-class ship to the region.

Beginning October 2016 through February 2017, the 1,916-guest ms Westerdam will sail a succession of 13 seven-day cruises roundtrip from San Diego, California, comprising two exceptional holiday departures in December.

Setting sail from Vancouver, British Columbia, Oct. 18, 2016, on an 11-day itinerary. Boasting sun-kissed skies, wonderful beaches and cobalt seas, the Mexican Riviera is the epitome of the perfect retreat for travellers considering to visit to a destination that’s rich in culture, colour and cuisine.

An 11-Day Mexican Riviera Cruise Opens the Season

Departing Oct. 18, ms Westerdam sails from Vancouver to San Diego on an 11-day Mexican Riviera journey. The ship calls Santa Barbara, California, before calling for her inaugural visit to San Diego, then continues on to make calls at the Exotic Mexican ports of Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta before making her way back to San Diego. Guests who would rather a seven-day cruise can embark Oct. 22 in San Diego subsequent to the call at Santa Barbara.
