Azamara Club Cruises® ships have been designed to accommodate all guests, including people with mobility, hearing and visual disabilities.
Azamara Club Cruises® allows their guests to customise their accommodation allowing you to specify your needs, with this form.
If you feel uncomfortable in revealing the nature of your disability it up to you how much you divulge, but the more information you can share about your specific needs, the better Azamara are able to assist you.
Its highly advisable to notify Azamara of your needs at the time of booking, to guarantee attainability of specific equipment or services, please provide:
60 days advance notice if you need sign language interpreting services during your voyage
- 30 days advance notice if you need special equipment or services (see list below) to accommodate your disability for the duration of your cruise
If Azamara Club Cruises® does not receive enough advance notice, Azamara will make every effort to make available requested equipment and/or amenities.

Physical disabilities
For the safety of all guests and crew, mobility aids including mobility scooters must be kept and recharged in your stateroom so fire doors, corridors and elevator foyers are kept clear for emergency evacuation.
Mobility aids have to fit through a standard stateroom doorway which is at least 23 inches wide. Azamara Club Cruises® offer accessible staterooms which have wider doors which are at least 32 inches wide and may accommodate bigger devices. If you have an assistive device larger than 32 inches wide, please contact the Access Department for assistance.
When parked all through the ship, it is essential they are parked in a remote area to allow safe access by other guests and crew members.
Accessible Staterooms
Azamara Club Cruises® accessible staterooms are designed to ensure your comfort and relaxation.
Accessible staterooms range from 272 square feet to 381 square feet, offering a lavish five-foot turning circle throughout the stateroom for easy maneuverability.

Accessible staterooms are held for people with disabilities until all non-accessible staterooms in that category are booked. Upon booking an accessible stateroom, Azamara Club Cruises® guests to request the need for the accessible stateroom by completing this form.
Any guest who is booked in an accessible stateroom who does not have a physical disability or other disability that may possibly be relocated at any time to a non-accessible stateroom permitting a guest with a disability the accessible stateroom.
Please note Azamara Club Cruises® investigate and take action on probable abuse of accessible staterooms if their is reason to believe that such staterooms have been booked fraudulently.
Visually Impaired
Azamara Club Cruises® have mastered the voyage experience for guests who are visually impaired. Each staterooms, dining areas and public areas are designed to integrate Braille in every nook and cranny. Naturally, the crew and staff are on hand to assist in every way.
Accommodations include:
- Service animals permitted onboard: a 4 feet x 4 feet relief area with cypress mulch is provided. (Read more about taking a service dog onboard your cruise)
- Early boarding available for orientation tours.
Azamara Club Cruises® also arrange for trained readers for guests who are blind or have low vision. Handpicked crew members have been educated as qualified readers to read written material such as the daily Pursuits and shore excursions information. Waiters will also read dining menus upon request.
